Above and Beyoncé

I have never been the biggest Beyoncé fan. It's not because I don't like her, I just never got around to listening to her songs and the ones that I did hear, I didn't find too revolutionary.

This article has however helped me to kind of understand the hype around her. I never really understand why celebrities are so glorified for what they do and the things I would hear about them online would lead me to believe that they were all for the most part stuck up and lost in their own worlds of money and fame.

I was very pleasantly surprised to realize how down to earth and normal Beyoncé is. This interview was a very enlightening experience that made me feel like I could look into her life.

The interviewer started from the very beginning of her life and career which was something that I never really thought about when it came to the discussion of celebrities.

While I wouldn't say that I glorify celebrities, I often forget that these people came from similar backgrounds to mine and that these people are people (if you know what I mean).

Society glorifies celebrities, especially Beyoncé, so much that they have become their own genre of people in a sense. This article has showed me that these people are normal people and that they got to where they are because of determination and hard work.

It was pretty inspiring in the sense that I could do what I really want to if I just work hard enough to achieve my dreams. My goal isn't to become famous or a renowned celebrity, but this story has motivated me to work hard to attain the success that I know I want to have in my future, and that is something that I never thought would happen just by reading an article on Beyoncé
